Paris Sued for Lack of Pledge Class

Paris Hilton, Pledge This Vivendi Visual Entertainment

Paris Hilton is in trouble for supposedly not doing enough to make National Lampoon's Pledge This! sound hot.

Not concerning itself with what a daunting task that was, the film's distributor, Florida-based Worldwide Entertainment Group, sued the heiress Tuesday for breach of contract, charging that she didn't come through after being paid $1 million to star in and promote the 2006 comedy.

When Starlets Wear the Same Dress: Paris vs. Tori

Paris Hilton, Tori Spelling VIP/X17online.com, Albert Michael/startraksphoto.com

By wearing the same Voom by Joy Han silk babydoll dress, reality stars and best-selling authors Paris Hilton and Tori Spelling have forced us to ask that difficult question yet again: Which starlet wore it better?

In one corner there’s Paris, who recently announced she is a grown-up, thanks to Benji Madden. The only thing wrong we can spot here are the heiress' matchy-matchy dyeable shoes.

And in the other corner is Tori, who is taking Donna Martin away from the 90210 spinoff (aw, man!), but who definitely has the bosom to fill out this top. Her biggest faux pas is this music video she made with her husband Dean McDermott.

Now it's up to you to choose the victor in this epic battle of the babydoll dresses. Get to it!

Paris Hopes Presidency Fits Her (and You) to a Tee

More from Marc Malkin

Update: Just got word from Paris Hilton's rep, who tells me that the T-shirt venture isn't only for profit. He says, "It will have a charity aspect."

________

Forget Barack Obama. Push John McCain aside. Paris Hilton is firming up her run for the White House.

Right on the heels (stilletoed heels, of course) of the hotel heiress' megaviral spoof about declaring her candidacy, I'm told she's rushing to release "Paris for President" T-shirts.

"They'll probably be a women's T-shirt and one for men," a source tells me. "They're hurrying to get them out as soon as possible."

I'm told that the shirts are likely to be sold exclusively at—where else?—Kitson boutiques in L.A.

"If Paris wears one, they'll sell huge," my source predicts.

Paris Thanks "White-Haired Guy" for Endorsement

Thanks to John McCain, Paris Hilton realizes that she's, like, totally ready to lead!

The seemingly oblivious heiress has taped a response, posted on FunnyOrDie.com, to the new McCain ad comparing Barack Obama to paparazzi magnets like Paris and Britney Spears.

And, well...it's pretty funny.

In the video, Paris introduces herself as a celebrity—like McCain, who's "old enough to remember when dancing was a sin."

"I'm a celebrity, too. Only I'm not from the olden days, and I'm not promising change like that other guy. I'm just hot," the 27-year-old scenester says.

She goes on to thank the "white-haired dude" for mentioning her in a campaign ad, which apparently means she's running for president, and fills us in on her energy policy.

Meanwhile, check out the commercial that got Paris thinking(!) after the jump.

Paris Hilton: Keepin' It Real

Paris Hilton, Benji Madden FAME PICTURES

Once again, Paris Hilton seems to be using fashion and cute accessories to let the world know that she and Benji Madden are truly meant to be together. (Seriously, check out the necklace she's wearing at the airport in Copenhagen!)

If you recall, it all started with those rings—Paris wearing Benji's initials on her finger and Benji wearing hers on his—followed shortly thereafter by the two of them stepping out in color-coordinated outfits.

And now this.

All of which raises the question: Is what they have, in fact, the "real thing," or should Paris' top be saying something completely different?

Kathy Hilton to McCain: This Is Where My Money Goes?!

Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton Jeff Vespa/WireImage.com

Paris Hilton may not have seen her cameo in John McCain's latest campaign ad, but her mom, Kathy, sure has—and she ain't happy!

"I've been asked again and again for my response to the now infamous McCain celebrity ad," mama Hilton wrote in a short blog on the Huffington Post.

"I actually have three responses. It is a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next president of the United States."

To add more fuel to the fire, Kathy and her husband, Rick, donated a total of $4,600 to McCain's campaign earlier this year.

So what do you think, is she a protective mother or a PO'd campaign contributor?

Paris Hasn't Seen McCain Attack Ad, Probably Won't

John McCain may have given Paris Hilton a costarring role in his latest political ad slamming opponent Barack Obama, but he shouldn't expect a thank you note any time soon.

"She hasn't even seen the ad," said a friend close to Paris. "She knows about it, people have told her, but she hasn't seen it, and she doesn't plan to."

How could she have missed such press? Some in Hollywood would pay good money to be featured in an ad playing over and over on the television airwaves...

LAPD Chief: "Gay" LiLo, Clothed Brit, Behaving Paris Keep Paparazzi at Bay

Los Angeles' top cop believes problems concerning overly aggressive paparazzi have taken care of themselves, what with Hollywood's It girls generally curbing their bizarre, headline-grabbing antics.

Now if only police chiefs could exhibit similar restraint...

LAPD Chief William Bratton has spoken out—and how—against a proposal by a city councilman seeking to put in place new measures that restrict paparazzi. Bratton says the (alleged) behavior modifications of Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have made the proposal all but moot.

"If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank god; and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue," Bratton told KNBC, L.A.'s local NBC affiliate.

Paris vs. Fergie: Which Shoe Peddler Really Sells It?

Fergie, Paris Hilton Denise Truscello/WireImage.com

Paris Hilton and Fergie both hit up Vegas this week to pose with their shoe lines to convince us we absolutely must buy a pair or otherwise we'll just die.

This is the most important (and, sometimes, only) role of the celebrity behind these types of collections. In fact, lack of promotional appearances could be one of the reasons Lauren Conrad's line is flopping. So we want to know which talented singer/actress you think sells her fashion goods the best.

While it's a tough call between Paris’ “Is this over yet? I wanna cuddle with Benji” pout and Fergie’s “So check out this shoe, it's like, nice, right?” pose, we're sure you can manage.

As for us, we think they could use some Katie Price pizzazz in their saleswomanship.

More from Lyons Den

In her first trip to Comic-Con, Paris Hilton stopped in San Diego last night and talked to fans about her outlandish musical, Repo! The Genetic Opera. Along with director Darren Lynn Bousman, she took a few minutes to tell me about her audition, acting ambitions and whether Benji Madden helped her prep for the rock opera. Paris Hilton has vowed to address all false rumors about herself on her MySpace blog.

She's also a regular caller to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show to denounce these reports, like the one she denied today about crawling over 10 soccer players at Villa just to get close to Cristiano Ronaldo last Wednesdayonly to be dissed by the star athlete.

(Listen to the interview)

So then why did she feel the need to tell Ryan that she has "learned to not pay attention"?
